I love this!! I also just made a podcast episode about books that I have been enjoying and what they are teaching me, but I love getting a snapshot of everything that's making you're life better. I am definitely going to try that gf bread recipe. It looks so good. I've also been eyeing Wendel Berry and wondering what of his I should read, so thank you for an answer!

Recently, I have been loving "The Weight of Glory" by C.S. Lewis- I had no idea he gave sermons and they are really good!

I'm not normally a videogame person, but my roommate got me into playing Zelda recently and it's such a beautiful and relaxing game.

I know this is strange, but my new favorite breakfast is dipping piping hot gluten free pancakes into a cold strawberry, blueberry banana smoothie!

Thanks for helping me be thankful for the good things in my life.

Hey Paul! Thanks so much for reading and for your thoughts. It sounds like we have very similar taste in books... Are you on audible? There is a great collection right now of C.S. Lewis--it is 9 books--38 hours, I believe, and it is for one credit! I just started The Great Divorce, which is one of my all-time favorite books. It feels more relevant to me than ever, and I am only on Chapter 2.

My boys really like Zelda. They love the music and have plunked a lot of it out on the piano. I actually made Kells seriously learn all the songs from Ocarina of Time on a real Ocarina to earn video game time. Haha. That sounds like something your Mom would do, doesn't it?! He could play the next level after he learned the real song that you had to learn in the game. I thought it was a stroke of brilliance. Remy did the same, but he learned them on the Irish whistle.

Will have to try the pancakes and smoothie combo. I can see how that would be sort of like one of those layered desserts with the sponge and the fruit with whipped cream. Yum.

Good to hear from you, Paul. Thanks for writing!
