Hello friends. My heart has been overflowing this week as I have seen all the pre-orders coming in for my new book. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Today was the first Friday in a really, really long time that I have not felt a little bit of desperation about all the work I needed to get done. This book is finished. All that is left now is to wait for the shipment to come, write names on packages and ship them out. (Your beautiful names!!! I love knowing the names of the people buying my book!))) It feels so good to be able to slow down and wait. And today honestly felt like a celebration.
We went for a picnic and a long walk in the woods, took off our shoes, rolled up our pants and splashed in the river. The baby’s joy was contagious, and we all got wetter than we meant to. It was a glorious spring day and one I will probably remember forever. I love standing in the river.
This week, I recorded a podcast sharing a bit of the story The Sacred Everyday. A year ago, my hope was dying that I would ever hold this book in my hands. But here it is! Right in front of me. I’d love to share this podcast with you.
I feel so grateful to have made it to this moment of my life. I am a woman, a wife, and a mother of eight beautiful children. I wrote a book. I stood in the river.
The beauty of life sometimes rushes in upon me. I am so glad to be here.
Thank you so much for being here and for bearing witness to the story of my life. Your presence and support gives more courage than you know.
Sending love, cold rivers, and perfect Spring days,
Mackenzie
